The analysis and the main point are so ridiculous that I don't know where to begin. First of all a salary cap is NOT a income distribution. It is an income ceiling.
The only mechanism in the NFL that you could construe as "income redistribution" would be the revenue sharing amongst teams. But revenue sharing does NOT redistribute income amongst players. It simply redistributes income amongst teams.
That's like a federal program that redistributes income amongst states. Does that lead to income equality? Of course not! LOL
